Your data stays with you

Everything you type into the calculator is only saved locally, in your own browser, using localStorage. It stays on your device and leaves to our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Share links

The "share link" button packs your whole time card into the link itself. Anyone you send it to can read everything inside, including the name on the card. The link is built in your browser, so we never see what is in it.

Printing & downloads

Printing and CSV downloads happen entirely on your device.

Comments & ratings

If you leave a comment or rating, the name and message you write get emailed to the editor for review, and may be published on the site. We only receive it when you press send. We may not take down a comment by request if we cannot prove your authorship.

Advertising

The site is supported by sponsored placements, which are links to products we think readers may find useful. We label them "Advertisement." These placements use no advertising cookies.

How we measure ads

We collect anonymous data about how sponsored placements perform, such as which ad was shown or clicked, plus rough details like device type and country. It works without cookies and stores nothing that could identify you, so it cannot follow you across the web.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, our server and our network provider (Cloudflare) keep standard technical logs to keep the site running and to protect ourselves from abuse. We use them for that and nothing else.

Children

This site is a tool for working people and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new text will be printed here with a fresh date below.
